UX Design

I’ve practiced both interior design and UX design because they share the same core discipline: solving human problems within real constraints. Both fields begin with listening, uncovering needs and priorities, and translating those insights into clear design goals. From there the work is iterative: sketching concepts, testing ideas (material samples or prototypes), refining solutions, and producing detailed documentation that contractors or engineers can execute. Success in either discipline depends on systems thinking (organizing components so they work together), technical rigor (construction drawings, specifications, or developer‑ready assets), and strong stakeholder leadership, which includes communicating decisions, managing tradeoffs, and building trust across clients, vendors, and project teams. My background in both practices lets me marry aesthetic judgment with process discipline: creating spaces and products that are beautiful, usable, and reliably delivered.
